The Segway Ninebot Max G3 E is the long-range flagship of Segway’s mainstream commuter line. It pairs a 597Wh battery with a 2,000W maximum motor claim, adjustable hydraulic suspension at both ends and 11-inch self-sealing tyres. European pricing began around €899.
The Max G3 E is heavier and more expensive than the F3 Pro E, but it offers a larger battery, stronger climbing specification and a more sophisticated chassis for longer rides.

Adjustable hydraulic suspension
The front uses twin hydraulic cartridges while the rear has adjustable hydraulic dampers. Together with 11-inch tubeless tyres, this is intended to keep the scooter stable over damaged roads and reduce fatigue. The frame also provides a locking loop, indicators and a 2.5W headlight.
Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear provide the main stopping power, supported by electronic braking and traction control. The large tyres and 24.6 kg weight help stability but make stairs and multimodal commuting difficult.
597Wh battery and range context
Segway advertises up to 80 km in its most economical test and around 65 km under a faster profile. Sport-mode owner tests commonly land lower, especially in cold weather or on hills. The integrated fast charger can complete a charge in roughly 3.5 hours.
An optional SegRange battery is intended to extend the platform further, but buyers should verify availability, regional compatibility and the combined weight rather than assuming it is included.

Connected features and real-world position
The TFT display and Segway Mobility app provide ride information, settings, navigation prompts and security functions. Apple Find My is useful for locating the scooter, but cannot prevent physical theft on its own.
The Max G3 E was selected as the best model in an El País comparison of road-approved adult scooters, with comfort and suspension among its strengths. Its weaknesses are equally clear: high price, significant weight and a real range that will not match the 80 km laboratory figure at 25 km/h in everyday traffic.

Is the Max G3 E the sensible long-range choice?
It suits riders who cover longer distances and can store the scooter at ground level. The hydraulic chassis, strong brakes and integrated charger justify part of the premium. Users who regularly carry their scooter should look at lighter options.
French rules require the public-road version to remain limited to 25 km/h, with liability insurance and a minimum riding age of 14. Higher motor power helps hills, not legal road speed.
