Dualtron Togo Max: the urban scooter moves to a 60V battery

The Dualtron Togo Max upgrades Minimotors’ urban range with a 60V 15.9Ah battery, a rear motor rated at 900W nominal and 1,200W peak, adjustable front and rear suspension and the Bluetooth-enabled EY4 display. Its French reference price was shown around €999.

It remains more compact than Dualtron’s extreme dual-motor models, but a 25 kg weight and 60V electrical system place it above a lightweight commuter scooter.

A stronger version of the urban Togo

The Togo Max uses 10 x 3-inch tubeless tyres and adjustable spring suspension at both ends. That setup should provide more control on broken urban surfaces than a rigid commuter frame. The deck, folding stem and 100 kg maximum rider rating still define it as a relatively compact Dualtron.

Its EY4 screen connects to the Minimotors app for ride settings, battery information and lighting options. Front and rear disc brakes are assisted by electronic ABS, while indicators, a headlight and rear lighting improve visibility.

Battery, motor and range claims

The 60V 15.9Ah battery stores about 954 Wh. Minimotors claims up to 60 km of range, a figure normally measured in favourable conditions. Real range depends heavily on rider mass, tyre pressure, hills, stops and temperature.

The rear motor is listed at 900W nominal and 1,200W peak. A private-land top-speed figure around 52 km/h appears in product material, but the public-road version in France must remain limited to 25 km/h.

Price and availability

Minimotors France displayed a €999 reference price and a much lower promotion when this article was verified, while marking the product unavailable. That gap shows why the actual checkout price and stock matter more than an old launch figure.

The 25 kg weight is manageable for occasional lifting but not ideal for daily stairs. Buyers should also confirm spare-part support, tyre servicing and the exact battery version sold by their retailer.

French road rules to remember

In France, an electric scooter used on public roads must be limited by design to 25 km/h. Civil-liability insurance is mandatory, the minimum riding age is 14, and local parking or circulation rules also apply. A derestricted scooter capable of more than 25 km/h is not legal on public roads simply because the rider selects a slower mode.

The Togo Max is appealing for riders who want stronger acceleration, suspension and range without moving to a very large Dualtron. Its mass, 100 kg load limit and uncertain promotional availability should be checked carefully before purchase.
