On paper, the Galaxy T has serious arguments for a versatile trekking e-bike: a 100 Nm mid-drive motor promising genuine hill capability, 500 Wh for up to 135 km, and branded equipment from Shimano, Schwalbe, SR Suntour and Selle Royal that is rarely this complete around €2,300. For weekend rides, everyday commuting or light trekking, it is appealing.
Actual motor feel uphill, real range, long-distance comfort and assembly finish still need confirming in use. But Heybike has made an ambitious bicycle that moves the brand upmarket. I hope to test it one day.
