The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete is a premium robot vacuum and mop designed to reach places that round robots often miss. Its side brush extends by 12 cm, its mop can move outward by 16 cm, and a retractable navigation turret helps the 8.8 cm-tall robot pass under low furniture. MOVA introduced it around €1,399.
The other headline figures are 40,000 Pa claimed suction, a bagless self-emptying dock and StepMaster legs that can cross selected obstacles up to 9 cm. Independent reviews now make it possible to separate the useful engineering from the marketing numbers.
Better reach along edges and under furniture
The MaxiReachX side brush extends into corners and narrow gaps, while the mop projects farther from the body to keep contact along skirting boards. The two spinning pads run at up to 300 rpm with a stated 15 N downward force and can lift 10.5 mm above carpet.
Tom’s Hardware Italy, Tom’s Guide France and Computer Bild all found edge cleaning to be one of the machine’s strongest qualities. That independent agreement is more meaningful than the 16 cm claim by itself. As with any robot, cables, very light rugs and complex furniture can still require preparation.
Suction, navigation and obstacle climbing
MOVA quotes 40,000 Pa from a high-speed motor. Pa is not a complete measure of pickup, since airflow, brush design and floor contact also matter. Reviews nevertheless report strong hard-floor and carpet performance, helped by an anti-tangle main brush.
The retractable sensor and front cameras are specified to identify more than 300 object types. StepMaster 2.0 can raise the chassis over a single 4.5 cm threshold or a two-stage obstacle totalling 9 cm in laboratory conditions. It does not climb stairs, and real success depends on the shape and traction of the threshold.

A bagless dock, but not true cyclone marketing
The dock empties dust into a washable reusable container, washes the mop pads with hot water and dries them with heated air. This removes the recurring cost of disposable bags. MOVA claims up to 100 days before the bin needs attention, which will vary substantially in a home with pets or heavy debris.
There is an important wording correction. MOVA calls the station EcoCyclone, but its own product-page footnote says that this is a series name and does not indicate actual cyclonic separation. The real feature is the bagless washable bin, not a guaranteed cyclone mechanism.
Is the V70 Ultra Complete worth the premium?
The V70 Ultra Complete is strongest in homes where edge cleaning, low furniture and awkward thresholds defeat simpler robots. Its extending tools and climbing hardware produced convincing results in several independent tests.
It remains an expensive, mechanically complex appliance. The dock and extending systems require cleaning, and the biggest laboratory claims will not be reproduced in every room. Buyers who can accept that maintenance get one of the more complete corner-cleaning systems currently available.
