Creality is expanding its Falcon range with the Falcon A1C, a compact desktop engraver presented as an ideal first laser for the home. Its main selling point is a tool-free mount compatible with three interchangeable laser modules, all inside a fully enclosed Class 1 chassis that Creality says does not require safety glasses during normal use. Prices were announced from $199 in the United States, with deliveries expected to begin between late July and August 2026 depending on the version and region. I have not tested it, so this is a look at what the Falcon A1C promises on paper.

Anycubic is bringing multicolor printing further down the price range with the Kobra X, an FDM printer that handles four colors out of the box and can be expanded to as many as 19 colors. The four-color version was listed at €299 on the company’s French store when this article was checked. Introduced around Formnext 2025 and released in early 2026, it is one of the more affordable ways to start printing in color. I have not tested it myself, but independent reviews are now available alongside the manufacturer’s specifications, giving us more than a launch sheet to work from.

Mecpow is refreshing its entry-level range with the X3S, available with 7W or 12W of optical power. Announced in July 2026, this open-frame engraver offers a 360 x 360 mm work area, speeds up to 10,000 mm/min, Wi-Fi and an optional extension that increases the Y axis to 730 mm. Prices start at $196.99. The X3S modernises the original X3, but its exposed architecture still requires a properly controlled laser workspace.

Creality introduced the SPARKX i7 at CES 2026 as an entry-level FDM printer for people who want multicolor output and extensive automation without moving into a premium price bracket. The standalone model was announced from $299, while the four-color version adds the CFS Lite material system. A full independent review is now available and largely supports the beginner-friendly pitch, giving us more evidence than the launch specifications alone.

The Elegoo Jupiter 2 brings the company’s large-format resin range up to date with a 14-inch 16K LCD, a 302 x 162 x 300 mm build volume and more automation than the original Jupiter. At a stated list price of $949, it targets prop makers, miniature studios and small production teams that need capacity without moving to an industrial machine.

The Bambu Lab X2D is an enclosed CoreXY printer with two very different nozzles. The primary toolhead uses direct drive for speed and material flexibility, while the auxiliary nozzle is supplied through an external Bowden extruder. This arrangement can print a model and its supports with less purging than a single-nozzle material changer, at a launch price of $649.

The MOVA V70 Ultra Complete is a premium robot vacuum and mop designed to reach places that round robots often miss. Its side brush extends by 12 cm, its mop can move outward by 16 cm, and a retractable navigation turret helps the 8.8 cm-tall robot pass under low furniture. MOVA introduced it around €1,399.
